SubscribeI’m still hovering around the purchase of a PS£ and GTA IV. I’m actually looking for a way to justify getting the game. I saw this a couple of days ago on Ivan’s blog which reminded me of something I saw in Borders the week the game was released:

After my third week with GTA IV it’s been something of a mixed bag of OMG and Meh. I played San Andreas to completion in around 5 evenings – bleary eyed multiple homicide never felt so good. Despite almost everything being better about GTA IV it’s still not the sum total of it’s hype. IV being much less woefully violent and fairly flat in upping the bad taste stacks in comparison to the previous entries.
The odd thing about the mulitplayer is that the most fun is to be had from just playing Free/Party Mode. No rules, just tonnes of cars and guns…
Trouble is MGS4 is out this week….. GTAIV good well fall out of favour until that behemoth is conquered.
