Could this be the start of Twitter Improv? Interactive comedy in 140 characters or less. Twitter soap operas, possibilities endless and all better than what is usually on twitter now.
Another idea is to have twitter characters, like say Dirty Harry, all your twits are quotes from his movies and with Eastwood 140 characters would never be an issue. There is a guy on Plurk doing this only he is Shakespeare. It’s more interesting on Plurk because plurks are threaded.
Not sure about the film quotes being all the fun though, personally. You could easily set it up, however, with a Twitter message queuing service.
Just load it up and set the interval to be long enough that you have time to enter another batch before the first ones run out.
But as I said before, not my bag. People are working collaboratively on “Twitter novellas”, where those involved take turns in writing what happens next. That seems quite fun and allows for all sorts of mayhem.
